The HERO Campaign

I'm currently an intern The HERO Campaign. HERO is a New Jersey-based (though not limited to) anti-drunk driving campaign that promotes John’s Law and other drunk driving prevention programs. Thus far, I have created a wiki page for an internal board committee for a 10th year anniversary dinner. I help them with their technological and social media needs as well as any PR needs they might need.

Suasion Communications Group

Currently, I am interning at Suasion Communications Group. Suasion is a communications firm that caters to the tourism and hospitality industry. Suasion’s award-winning public relations efforts include major tourism accounts such as Wildwood, NJ and Haddonfield, NJ. Thus far, I have created and edited documents for the firm's multiple social media sites. I have also edited multiple documents for its clients including articles that will be going up on websites and news releases. I have also done a lot of research for the firm for their clients. I archive press clippings for both the firm and its clients. I am also comfortable with Vocus and its applications.

Note: Most of these are just first drafts that were edited further and sent out to media outlets.

Blacksburg Health and Fitness at the Weight Club

We were put in charge of creating and formalizing a new program at the Weight Club that caters to people with special needs. We researched local programs, doctors and what other programs across the country were doing. We applied that to our program. Once we gave the program a name—The Spotter's Program—we created a logo, brochure, application and a doctor's kit that would be distributed to local doctors and organizations. Aside from the Brochure and Fact Sheet, all of the contents of the doctor's kit and applicable research is in the Campaign Plan.
